This position will be responsible for managing within the China all business operations, marketing and promotional activities, stakeholders management, healthcare financing and health policies in close collaboration with the Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Legal and Compliance, Finance and Regulatory Affairs. |

üForecasting and setting commercial objectives for BioMarin portfolio in China in collaboration with Marketing and Medical colleagues, and communicating it with our partner for proper execution. üManaging and leading our partner in China through ensuring partner commercial team readiness, cohesion, and executing local plans for each therapeutic area to achieve commercial goals. üSales Performance Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, including revenue, and product performance. Identifying areas of improvement, formulating corrective actions, and ensure proper executing to ensure the achievement of sales targets and organizational objectives. üManaging Tender planning, preparation, and communication with stakeholders to secure tender awarding with forecasted quantities. üAligning with BioMarin Supply Chain team as well as partner teams to secure the smooth delivery of shipments for all sectors on time. üEnsuring smooth access for BioMarin portfolio in China sectors through planning, supporting the partner local team in execution, and negotiating with stakeholders. üCommunicating with the International Market Access team, as well as Commercial, Marketing, and MAF colleagues in AMEA and International region to share experience and tailor agreed Company strategies in China. üEstablishing clear, measurable sales objectives for partner teams. üSupporting partner teams and driving performance with motivational strategies to exceed sales targets. üIdentifying and exploring new business opportunities within the rare diseases market. Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, buyers, and authorities, to expand our business. üEnsuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidelines. Fostering a culture of ethical conduct and ensuring that the sales teams in our partner side operate within legal and regulatory boundaries which match our company’s code of ethics. üWorking alongside my direct manager with the MOH Drug Policy and Regulation of Therapeutic Affairs to reach satisfactory agreements with authorities. üCoordinating and collaborating with AMEA and International cross-functional team, leading the work group and communicate alongside my direct manager with the authorities to develop the Economic Participation Proposal requested by the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority in China. |

üBachelor’s Degree in business administration or similar. üFluent English. üKnowledge of local reimbursement and pricing policies is be an asset üMandatory experience with High Cost medicines/treatments. üKnowledge in Orphan Diseases is desirable. üSignificant understanding of the health care system in the respective country is a must üWell versed in developing and executing business plans üAbility to react to rapidly changing priorities and effectively manage changes to business strategy and execution plans üAdept conceptual thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills üAble to lead initiatives, advocate for programs and the ability to present compelling supporting facts and back-up data üExcellent communication ability, both verbal and written (both, Arabic and English), at all levels üThe ability and desire to interact with multidisciplinary teams üTravel as necessary to carry-out country-specific initiatives üManage and adhere to all corporate policies and practices |
