Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Data and AI Strategist to join our expanding Data Foundations function within the Enterprise Architecture team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, enabling the organization to leverage data, AI, and technologies as critical assets for business success. You will lead the delivery of transformational data assets that enhance business understanding and accelerate growth. With a focus on data as the backbone and AI as the catalyst for transformation, you will collaborate with key stakeholders and data practitioners to implement a Data Foundations blueprint that drives innovation through data-first solutions. This position requires a strong background in data management, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to deliver solutions that result in measurable business impact.
This role involves delivering data strategic imperatives and acting as a key liaison between data and AI engagements, ensuring data is used to enhance AI capabilities led by the AI team. Additionally, this position will develop and execute key integrations throughout the organization, establishing a strong data foundation for an overall data and AI transformation.
Responsibilities:
Create actionable recommendations using best practices in:
  • Customer Data Platforms and management tools.
  • Data quality and governance frameworks.
  • Scalable strategies and change management.
  • Present clear findings in professional reports, including use cases, gap analyses, solution architectures, future state designs, and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data strategists, analysts, experience experts, and technical specialists, as well as partners' SMEs and solution architects.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure solutions remain cutting-edge and relevant to business needs. 
Required Skills and Experience 
  • Over 5 years in strategic consulting focused on data strategy and AI transformation.
  • Delivered data-driven projects with measurable business outcomes.
  • Expertise in leveraging various data domains (Customer, Patient, Commercial, GXP) for innovation and adoption.
  • Experienced in data-driven marketing, campaign development, measurement, and optimization.
  • Knowledgeable about Data Foundations ecosystem: Customer Data Platforms, cloud-based platforms (e.g., Databricks, Datasphere, Fabric), and journey orchestration tools.
  • Skilled in translating business challenges into data and AI strategies and solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities; capable of influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in cross-functional and intercultural teams with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Familiar with machine learning, statistics, empirical economics, Adobe/Google Analytics, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI).
  • Understanding of data domain models and business capabilities mapping for data strategies.
  • Knowledge of experimentation and data maturity frameworks.
  • Quantitative background in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 6 years in Data Management including Data Strategy, Big Data, Data Quality, Data Modeling, Data Governance, Data Integration/ETL, Metadata Management, and Data Security.

In the U.S., the salary range for this position is $ 152,000 to $ 228,000 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A discretionary bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
